Terbium Applications
Terbium is used in green phosphors in fluorescent lamps and color TV and X-rays tubes. It is a magnetic material and may be used in magnetic alloys. Nonstoichiometric oxides Tb4O7 are catalysts, e.g. of H2 and N2O oxidizing.
